For beginners we offer a comprehensive range of tuition packages, from 2 hour FastStart lessons, to 5 hour rapid progression courses. We provide all the kit you may need including wakeboards, skis, and kneeboards, wetsuits, and buoyancy aids, and each course is hosted by one of our experienced professional coaches. We aim for a ratio of around 6 to 8 people per coach so you get maximum attention, fastest results, and a rewarding and thrilling experience.

Improvers & Experts

WakeMK brings together a team of experienced cable riders, qualified instructors and pro riders to provide on-the-dock coaching and advice. Come and ride alongside the pros and learn their secrets, or sign up for our one-on-one Masterclasses to take your riding to the next level. The WakeMK Raley clinic (see events page) offers you a relaxed coaching session with like minded folks who help you to gain the confidence to try something new! With live DJs and some grub after its really not be missed. For experienced boat riders we offer a quick transition course, the main differences are in the start, the corners and technique for inverts.

Groups and Corporate

WakeMK is the perfect place to organise your group outing, with a fantastic location, which offers a wide variety of activities for all ages and abilities. Our team of experienced staff and instructors will ensure a fantastic experience is had by all. Discounts are offered to group bookings, so if you're organising an event for a school outing, corporate function or just want to get together with friends, get in touch and we can put together the perfect package, your'll be up and wakeboarding on the cable in no time. We're running special Junior Sessions from 11pm to 1pm every weekday during every School holiday. Book in for a taster session to see if you like it or book in for a minimum of three sessions, we'll teach you how to Wakeboard and get you started with your first tricks. We provide all the kit you need including wetsuits to keep you warm, buoyancy aids, helmets, and of course wakeboards - all you need to bring is a pair of shorts or swimming costume to wear under your wetsuit and a towel. You'll start by learning some basic safety and we'll teach you about your equipment. Each course is run by an experienced instructor and rider, who will teach you all the things you need to know over those first three sessions. We combine on-the-land theory, with on-the-water practice and experience - generally the first 15 minutes of each session is land based, followed by over an hour and a half on the dock or riding.

• We've installed a brand new cable with easier and smoother corners for beginners - that means the corners are easier, you'll progress faster, and you'll get more time riding.
• We run the cable at a slower speed - making it easier to get up and started, and making the corners easier still.
• We've just fully replaced the showers and have a new water supply - which means a lovely hot shower when you come off the water mmm luxury
• We'll keep a record of your progress with your own personal progression card - your instructor will mark off your achievements as you progress and help you strive for the next level.

For the parents... Why not stay and watch right from the dock (don't forget to bring your camera or video), or why not pop off to MK centre for a spot of shopping or take a welcome break from the kids at the Lakeside Pub and Restaurant. Our new indoor restaurant, coffee bay is open for business, providing a warm and inviting place to eat and drink overlooking the cable lake where you can sit and relax after a your session or while you watch your friends or family.

How to Book

• We recommend pre-booking as places are strictly limited, call us on 01908 670 197 now to book.
• The minimum course is three sessions (on any days) so we'll not only get you started, but also get you making some real improvement.
• After that you can book your places session by session, or save with our Junior Session Card which gives you 10 prepay sessions at a big discount rate.
• If you know you like it, you can buy a Junior Season Pass, which gives you unlimited FREE riding AT ANY TIME through to the end of the summer holidays - if you enjoy your first few times, then this is your VIP ticket to ride.
